Fewer seeds on the ground, fewer problems in the coop
A feeder is not just for storing grain. Above all, it must prevent the grain from ending up on the ground, wet, soiled or accessible to rats, mice and birds.
Grain wasted at every meal
Sorting and scratching scatter some of the feed on the ground. This grain often ends up trampled, soiled, dampened, or mixed with droppings, which degrades its quality.
Result: more waste and less clean feed for the poultry.
Seeds easily accessible to pests
When grain is scattered on the ground, it creates several small access points around the coop. Birds, mice, and rats quickly spot these easily accessible leftovers.
The less grain there is on the ground, the fewer things there are to attract them.
A ration exposed to rain
A classic feeder rarely protects the feed well. In case of rain or humidity, the grain can swell, stick, block the flow, or mold more quickly.
You then need to clean out, empty, or move the feeder more often.
Cocobol does not replace a rat extermination if the rats are already present, but it helps reduce what attracts them daily: easily accessible seeds.
A feeder designed to keep feed in its place
Every detail has been designed to limit waste, protect the feed, and make daily feeding simpler.
Less waste, fewer pests attracted, happy hens
The shape of the feeder helps keep feed in the feeding area, limits unnecessary scratching, and reduces seed accessible on the ground.
Outdoor thought
The cap better protects the entrance from rain and helps keep the grain drier in daily use.
Visible level at a glance
The transparent hopper allows you to easily see the grain level, so you can anticipate refilling without opening it. The grey version of the hopper retains a transparent strip at the bottom, so you are warned when the feeder needs to be refilled.
Easy installation, convenient refilling
The feeder attaches quickly, detaches easily, and fills from the top for simple daily use.
Why it truly works
The Cocobol opening is not just a simple opening: its shape limits scratching, controls the flow of kibble, and prevents areas where food can get stuck.
1: Calibrated opening
Access is sized for chickens, with less space for scratching and throwing grain.
2: Double rim
The edges help contain the feed in the bowl and reduce losses to the floor.
3: Compact bowl
The bowl gives access to the feed without creating a large open reserve where chickens can sort through it.
4: Grain in order
The food moves downwards gradually: old seeds don't get stuck at the bottom.
5: Large-crested Roosters
Access remains designed for poultry, including roosters with a more developed comb like our Blanco.
6: Night cap included
The closure cap is included. Use it to close the feeding port when the chickens are not using it, especially at night.
The result also depends on a good installation: suitable height, stable support and night cap if pests are very present.
Installed in minutes, practical every day
Attach the bracket at the correct height, hang the feeder, then fill from the top. It can be removed without tools for cleaning.
1
Attach the bracket
Choose a height suitable for chickens, then attach the support to a stable point.
2
Hang the bird feeder
The feeder is quick to install and stays suspended daily.
3
Fill from above
Refilling is done from the top, without dismantling the entire system.

Questions to ask yourself before buying
Short answers on actual use, installation, and limitations to be aware of.
Is it really anti-rat?
The feeder helps limit the attraction of pests by reducing the amount of accessible seeds on the ground. It is not a foolproof anti-rat solution: in case of a strong presence, a good installation, a night cap, and appropriate actions around the chicken coop are also required.
Is this suitable for roosters with large combs?
Yes, the opening is designed to remain accessible to poultry, including roosters with a more developed comb.
Is the rain coming in?
The cap better protects the entrance and helps keep the grain drier. Wind exposure and feeder orientation remain important.
Which model should I choose?
The choice depends mainly on the number of chickens, the desired autonomy, and the available space. The calculator on the page helps estimate the appropriate capacity.
Can different grits be used?
The feeder is suitable for dry and fluid foods. Highly irregular mixtures should be tested, as they may flow less easily.
How do I clean the bird feeder?
It can be removed without tools for emptying and cleaning. Regular checks prevent the accumulation of grain dust.
What is a nightguard used for?
It allows you to block access to food when the chickens are sleeping, especially if pests are very present around the coop.

A hanging feeder designed and made in France to contain grain and help reduce waste in the chicken coop. Choose one of the reservoir capacities offered on this page: 3.5 L or 5.5 L.
A closure cap is included with every complete feeder, to close the feeding port when the chickens are not using it, especially at night.
Reduce spilled feed
The feeding port guides access to the feed and helps reduce spills. Results depend on the feed, mounting height and your chickens’ behaviour. Regularly remove grain that falls on the ground.
Protect the feed
The lid and feeder shape help protect the grain. Place the feeder under shelter from direct rain and check regularly that the feed remains dry.
Installation and maintenance
Fix the feeder to a suitable support using its quick-release mount, at a height where your chickens can eat comfortably. Check that the assembly is secure. The reservoir can be removed for cleaning; follow the assembly instructions.
Mounting the feeder above ground and reducing spilled grain can make feed less accessible to rats and mice. Results depend on installation and surroundings; the feeder does not guarantee the absence of rodents.
Made in France
The feeder is designed and made in France from technical plastic intended for regular use in a chicken coop. Dimensions, capacities and available options are listed on this page.
