This pack contains 5 traps that clip onto compatible 1 kg honey jars. Jars are not included. The model is designed by Thom Concept, a brand operated by Thomas Mosnier, who also operates Cocobol.
Design
The traps have a calibrated grille intended to let small insects exit. This design aims to limit non-target catches, without guaranteeing complete selectivity or full protection of an apiary.
Clip-on fitting for a compatible 1 kg honey jar.
A grille with exit openings for small insects.
Reusable traps designed for outdoor use.
Assembly and use
Check jar compatibility before assembly. Clip the trap onto a suitable empty jar, then follow local Asian hornet control guidance for bait and placement. No bait mixture guarantees that bees or other insects will not be caught.
Check catches regularly and adjust or stop trapping if non-target insects are caught.
